A popular figure in RC history is back!

This is an electric radio control car assembly kit that was introduced in 1979 and gained popularity for its humorous form and full-fledged equipment. The basic configuration of the Volkswagen Off Roader remains the same, but various parts have been improved. This is a reprint version. A one-make class is also available in actual off-road races such as the "Baja 1000" held in California, and Volkswagen's off-road race spec car, also known as the Baja Bug. Its characteristic shape has been recreated in real life. The body is made of impact-resistant styrene resin in white colour. You can use paint for plastic models, and you can look forward to the colouring. Furthermore, the 2WD chassis with rear motor and rear drive is also finished to give the mood of the actual car

2WD chassis that faithfully reproduces the original

The main frame is composed of a 2mm thick FRP plate and a reinforcing duralumin panel, which combines flexibility and strength to create excellent running stability. The front and rear suspension arms are made of die-cast. Front - Adopts 4-wheel independent suspension with double trailing and rear swing axle, and is equipped with 4 oil dampers with excellent shock absorption. In addition, highly dust-proof transparent plastic houses the RC mechanism and running battery. The manufactured mechanical box ensures reliability when driving off-road. The drive system has full bearing specifications. The wheels are a three-piece centre lock type that firmly holds the tires.
