Driving on roadless roads by shifting

Electric radio control that reproduces the Toyota Hilux (RN36), a four-wheel-drive pickup truck that gained a lot of support in the 1980s, mainly in the United States, but also in Japan, and is still very popular today. This is a car assembly kit. Equipped with a 540 motor specification 3-speed transmission on a ladder frame similar to the actual car, you can enjoy light gear changes while driving with RC operation. The suspension uses a metal axle housing with leaf springs. It is a rigid type with a radius rod at the rear and an oil damper for positioning. The front is also equipped with a metal under guard to support tough riding. In addition, metal parts such as the ladder frame, leaf springs, axle housing, and wheel hub are equipped. The realistic configuration with many parts makes it a lot of fun to assemble. The body equipped with a sleeper cab is made of styrene resin with a precision mould that gives it a sense of scale. Equipped with large tires with a diameter of 123 mm to greatly raise the vehicle height. The style is also attractive.

Actual vehicle description

Among the third generation Hilux (30/40 series) that was introduced in 1978 as Toyota's pickup truck, the RN36 type was developed as an export-only model. Compact and lightweight. Equipped with a 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 1968cc that produces 98 horsepower, it exhibits sporty and powerful driving performance. Furthermore, the rigid axle suspension has front leaf spring shackles located at the rear. Sufficient ground obstacle angle was ensured in both the front and rear, and it was used in cross-country driving and trial competitions. It also featured over fenders on both the front and rear, and a high-slung style equipped with large-diameter tires. Mainly used in North America. The RN36 type was exported to Japan, but after that, it started being sold in Japan and became popular under the name "Saburoku", and is still loved by fans all over the world.
