A coveted machine with enhanced potential to match the current RC scene

The Avante was introduced in 1988 as the highest model of 4WD buggies. The following year, TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) was formed, and Tamiya began racing around the world. Taking the know-how gained through racing, we designed a new car based on the Avante as a race-only car, and adopted carbon plates used in F1 and aircraft, as well as a ball differential and large-capacity oil. The Egress was developed with the aim of winning in races, using dampers and lightweight but expensive titanium screws. At the time, belt-driven cars were in full swing, but the Egress was the only shaft-driven car that was active in races, and is now known as the Egress. Each part has been revived with increased potential to match the RC scene.

Highly rigid shaft drive 4WD chassis that uses many carbon parts

The chassis is a carbon double deck. It boasts high rigidity that does not budge. The powertrain of the shaft drive 4WD is a full bearing specification. The front and rear ball differentials are new parts that have been revised from the original design. In addition to smooth operation, maintainability and durability have been improved. In addition, a one-way bearing is built into the drive gear. The torque splitter effect provides straightforward handling. It is also possible to change to a one-way bearing and make it a locking specification. Furthermore, the universal shaft, which is the most heavily used part of the drive system, has the same structure as the current TRF series, and has a smooth Achieved drive and high reliability. Suspension is 4 independent double wishbone wheels. Equipped with 4 oil dampers that use aluminium cylinders, and stabilizers are also installed at the front and rear. The front upright is made of high-strength aluminium cutting. The steering system is equipped with a ball bearing on the wiper arm axis and uses a 2.0mm thick carbon plate to create linear handling. Titanium screws are not used this time, but the performance more than makes up for it. Even with the current mainstream brushless motor, you can enjoy a wonderful run.
