Following the Fire Dragon, Scorcher and Thunder Dragon, Tamiya welcomes Thunder Shot as a re-released and updated version! This R/C model features some inherited basic specifications from Item 58361 with different CVA oil dampers and the addition of an aluminium motor mount, for better motor performance, and structural rigidity!
Improved and reprinted version of the basic 4WD buggy loved by many fans: This is a reprint model of the Thunder Shot, a basic 4WD buggy assembly kit released in 1987. The body, which consists of the smooth lines of the forward cockpit, is made of polycarbonate. The canopy is transparent, the main body is white, and the nose and rear side pontoons are painted in blue. In addition, a separate type large rear wing that increases rear downforce is also available. Wings are painted white and cut.
Shaft drive 4WD chassis that is easy to assemble and maintain: The chassis is a shaft drive 4WD that uses a shaft for power transmission with a mid-mounted motor. The RC mechanism is built into the lightweight and high-strength ABS resin bathtub frame, and the front and rear gearboxes attached to the suspension are docked for ease of maintenance. The suspension consists of a simple structure consisting of an upper I-arm and a lower H-arm. Equipped with one CVA oil damper on the front and two on the rear, and a stabilizer on the front of the single damper specification. Provides smooth running. In addition, unit type differential gears are built into the front and rear sealed gear cases. Adopts an aluminum motor mount with high precision and rigidity, and excellent heat dissipation. The tires are equipped with spike tires that demonstrate sufficient grip power on all four wheels. It is also a nice point that you can run anywhere from on-road to off-road.

4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with CVA oil dampers uses front stabilizer for a superior ride. Kit includes CVA oil dampers II instead of Type I seen in the original release.
The front and rear sealed gearboxes contain compact, durable die-cast 3-bevel differential gears for smooth performance.
Semi-pneumatic spike tires.
Contains separate rear wing (pre-painted in white).
Includes a driver figure.
